Amazing low-sodium breakfast: Sausage egg muffins

– 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
– 1/2 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers, drained
– 12 eggs, beaten
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 small onion, chopped
– salt and pepper to taste

At he beginning you need to preheat your kitchen stove to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease 12 muffin cups. Put the sausage in one large and deep skillet and cook on medium high heat until it become evenly brown. When it’s ready drain it and set aside.
In one large bowl, mix well chiles, eggs, garlic powder, onion, sausage and salt pepper. With one spoon put 1/4 cup of the sausage mixture into each of the prepared muffin cup.
At the end bake into the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, until the egg has set and the toothpick inserted into each of the ‘muffin’ comes out clean.

This is very easy morning or afternoon snack. You will need about 20 minutes for preparing and 20 minutes for cooking and your muffins are ready.
