[Instant Pot] Needed ingredients:
-2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
-salt and ground black pepper to taste
-1 teaspoon ground paprika
-1/2 cup chile sauce
-1 onion, minced
-2 tablespoons vinegar
-1/2 cup water
First heat your Instant Pot over medium heat. Cook the chicken until browned, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Sprinkle salt, paprika and pepper onto the chicken. Combine chile sauce, onion, water, and vinegar in one bowl and pour over chicken.
Cover the Instant Pot with the lid and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions, for about 15 minutes. Then remove from heat and release the pressure through natural release method. Open carefully.
Notes: You can substitute any cut of chicken for chicken thighs, if you desire. The amount of the chicken can be increased to up to 3 pounds in this recipe.
Be sure to cook the chicken long enough, or the sauce will be too watery. Don’t be tempted to stop the Instant Pot too early.
