Be your own dentist: Tricks to remove the tartar buildup at your home!

For proper dental care you should remove tartar from time to time. The tartar is mineral deposit on the teeth and if it is not removed for a longer period of time it can lead to periodontitis. Best way to remove tartar is by visiting your dentist. But, you can also remove it effectively from your home! Here’s how!

Get the following ingredients:
– water
– baking soda
– hydrogen peroxide
– antiseptic mouth wash
– salt
– dental pick
– cup
– toothbrush

Mix one tablespoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt into the cup. Wet the toothbrush with warm water dip it into the previously prepared mixture. Then scrub the teeth with that and spit. Do this method for about five minutes.

Next, mix cup full with hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 cup of warm water and rinse your mouth with that for one minute, spit and rinse with 1/2 cup of cool water.

With dental pick rub the yellow tarter from your teeth. Be careful not to scrape the gums.

Rinse your mouth with an antiseptic mouth wash and do that every second day.

You can also try some of the following tips to keep the teeth healthy.

Strawberries and tomatoes: They are great to keep good oral health because of the high amounts of vitamin C in them. Rub them directly on your teeth and let it like that for about 5 minutes. Rinse your mouth with mixture made from baking soda and warm water. Other foods high in amounts of vitamin C that can be also great in this case are berries, lemons, bell peppers, lime, papaya and oranges.

Also, you can try cheese such as Cheddar or Swiss cheese. Eat the cheese before meals. That way you will neutralize the acids that can involve plaque appearance. There is one ingredient that works as barrier agent in aged cheese.

To have healthy teeth you must brush your teeth regularly in the correct way with making vertical movements.
